L’Ecole du Vin de Bordeaux (The Bordeaux Wine School) was created by the Conseil Interprofessional du Vin de Bordeaux (CIVB) in 1990 with the aim of bringing a better understanding of Bordeaux wines to professionals and enthusiasts around the world! It sets the groundwork for all wine lovers to explore their own ways of enjoying the huge variety of Bordeaux wines, tasting the joyful moment and the different sensations brought by the wide range of wines from the wine capital of the world!

Practical Course - Discover the secrets of Bordeaux wines!

Course Duration: 2 days

Improve your tasting skills, enrich your gustative palate and understand the influence of soil and time on wine. Pursue your discovery of Bordeaux wines through the most oenological of exercises: a blind tasting from the program repertoire of 16 wines. Finally, use your knowledge in an amusing way through daring food and wine pairings. Bordeaux wines will hold no more secrets for you!

Technical Course - The Comprehensive Bordeaux experience!

Course Duration: 2 days

Acquire the methodology of tasting, discover the origins of classified growth vineyards, their characteristic blends and the steps of winemaking and ageing. Two days for a complete review of tasting the specificities of the Bordeaux vineyard: soils, grape varieties, classifications, appellations. This course will enable you to seize the richness and the diversity of Bordeaux wines by tasting a range of 20 wines.
